English Conversation Lessons

I am a certified TEFL/TESOL instructor through the International TEFL and TESOL Training (ITTT) 120-hour course and 50-hour Teaching Business English Course. I have 4 years of experience teaching English in classrooms in Japan and over 5 years of experience teaching adults in-person and online in business English, grammar, writing, and conversation skills.

Japanese Language Tutoring

I help college students and adults at the beginner to intermediate level get started learning Japanese and improve conversation skills, whether you want to improve your grades in a Japanese course or build a good foundation for self-study. I have over 4 years of experience working with Japanese learners.

Language Acquisition Method

I offer 1-on-1 English or Japanese language practice sessions, either for 45 minutes or 1 hour. I believe in learning by doing, so in our first session, we will figure out your language goals and make a plan how to practice the language to reach those goals.

Every session is catered to your specific needs, so you can bring the materials you want to practice or let me know what you would like to learn so I can prepare assignments related to the topic. We will focus on applying vocabulary and grammar through casual conversations and targeted speaking tasks. I can also share videos, audio, and other free resources so you can study on your own time and be prepared to make the most of each session when we meet.
